Learn what universal design is, how to determine appropriate home modifications to age-in-place with greater safety and ease, and the County's tax benefits for home modifications. Deborah Rozell,the founder and owner of the firm Innovative Inclusive Design and a Universal Design Specialist, will speak with us, as well as Isabelle Schoenfeld, the new Chair of the Montgomery County Commission on Aging.  Ms. Schoenfeld will also educate us all on  the Commission on Aging's mission and activities.  Friends and neighbors welcome.

Ms. Scoenfeld is a National Assoc. of Homebuilders “Certified Aging in Place Specialist" and has an Executive Certificate in Home Modifications from the Univ. of Southern California Andrus Gerontology Center. Ms. Rozell
has degrees in Interior Design and Special Education with a concentration in physical disabilities. She is certified in Home Modifications from the University of Southern California and Aging in Place from National Home Builders Association.
