About this event
Widowed Persons Outreach (WPO) is pleased to welcome Beth Kanter, LICSW, as this year’s keynote speaker. Beth is a DC-based clinical psychotherapist with over 20 years of expertise in providing individual, couples, and group therapy. Drawing on her background in social justice organizing, she supports people who are dealing with grief, depression and anxiety, chronic pain and chronic illness, and relationship challenges, among other concerns. She was the grief counselor at a hospice for over eight years and now works in private practice, where she specializes in integrative psychotherapy.
Registration: All guests are welcome, including those with diverse grief and loss experiences (not limited to spousal loss) as well as professionals. To register, email info@wpodc.org to register and receive the link to the Zoom conference.
Cost: There is no required fee. Donations are welcome to help cover conference expenses. This can be done via the WPO web site, www.wpodc.org.
