Special Assistant to the Archivist Sam Anthony will be giving BMAV a specially arranged tour of the National Archives, where every exhibit tells a story of the history of the United States.

We’ll start off viewing the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights, and then a few other records related to women’s history, espionage, civil rights, bourbon, a stray dog, and a kid who wants $10 from the president. The truth is stranger than fiction, and viewing the records of our nation will prove it beyond all doubt!

To gain admittance to the Archives before it opens to the general public, we will need to be there by 9:30 a.m. We will meet at Bethesda Metro at 9 a.m. sharp, at the fare machines at the bottom of the escalators, and take the Metro together to the Archives subway stop. RSVP now to reserve your spot (limited to first 12).
