All BMAV members are warmly invited to the January meeting of this popular and engaging special interest group. Please join us for a conversation about the most common misconceptions about hospice care. Find out who qualifies for hospice, when the best time is for your loved one to enter hospice, and what a hospice stay looks like for patients dealing with chronic disease. Inform yourself and debunk longstanding hospice myths so you can help make better care decisions for your loved one.
Maria Kaplan, JSSA Hospice's Community Liaison and a nurse, will lead this talk on "Hospice: Myths & Facts."
