Those who who are interested can also stay for lunch after viewing the exhibit. "I was never much of a lover of Sargent. No wow colors or subjects, no unusual handling of light and shadow, etc. But his numerous trips to Spain to paint, in watercolor and oil, unleashed such passion and excitement from Sargent that as I reviewed the photos of his work contained in this exhibit, and an ecstatic critic’s Washington Post review, I felt strongly that not only did I want to see the exhibit but I thought many of you might like it too."
