Bill Offutt from Montgomery History will be speaking on Civil War history in Bethesda and Montgomery County.
A native of Montgomery County, Offutt is a retired public school and Montgomery College teacher. He is the author of Bethesda: A Social History and A History of Montgomery County as well as numerous articles for local newspapers and for Montgomery History.
