Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Moon Landing with this special presentation from NASA Solar System Ambassador James McGuire. You learn about the mission from it's beginnings to lift off and return. After serving in the Army for two years, including an assignment in Vietnam, NASA Solar System Ambassador, James McGuire achieved his desire of having a career at NASA. He was fortunate to be a part of four earth orbiting satellite programs. These included weather, atmospheric science, and astronomy satellites. He then transitioned to the Space Shuttle and Space Station Programs and was the program manager for the ten Shuttle Spacelab missions.
