Weather permitting the tour will begin on the northwest corner of Edgemoor Lane and Exeter Road, where author and resident Fred Berner will explain how “The Denton Farm” was purchased in 1910 by six members of the Chevy Chase Club and transformed into beautiful Edgemoor. Then we will walk along Edgemoor Lane, looking at some of the very oldest homes in the neighborhood and learning about their architects and owners. The tour should end by 5:00. The tour is open to all and free of charge.
