How do you want your family to remember your parents and grandparents? How can you best tell the stories that will bring them and their times – and your times – to life? The BMAV Writing Workshop will offer you a chance to present your memories and help others to probe theirs.

 

This will be a two-session workshop. In the first session, Lynn Barclay and Rick Weintraub, two BMAV members with writing backgrounds, will share some thoughts on the craft of capturing ideas in words and lead a discussion to explore your thoughts and questions. Then, in between sessions, you will have a short writing assignment. Writers will share their efforts in the second session. If we need extra time, we might extend to a third session on December 14.
